MEDIATION

Mediation can be written or spoken. Taken from Educantabria Language Teaching Testing:
"Oral mediation is construed to be synonymous with — simultaneous interpretation (at conferences, meetings) — consecutive interpretation (speeches, guided tours) — informal interpretation (e.g., in social and transactional situations for friends, family, clients, or of signs, menus, notices).
Written mediation is construed to be synonymous with — exact translation (of legal and scientific texts) — literary translation — summarizing gist (within L1 or between L1 and L2) — paraphrasing. "
Video explaining what mediation is:  www.cristinacabal.com/?page_id=10144
EXAMPLES: explaining graphs and charts: eoic1.wordpress.com/  and vocabulary and word order to describe themwww.woodwardenglish.com/lesson/ielts-writing-task-1-describing-trends-vocabulary-word-order/

TRANSLATION: The idea is to explain with your own words the texts you are given. http://eoigijon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Mediation-activity-C1.pdf
